Michael has a BA in History & American Studies and an MSc in American History from the University of Edinburgh. He comes from a proud military family and has spent most of his career as an educator in the Middle East and Asia. His passion is travel, and he seizes any opportunity to share his experiences in the most immersive way possible, whether at sea or on the land.

The Kentucky Historical Society’s campus, located in downtown Frankfort, Kentucky, includes the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History, the Old State Capitol, and the Kentucky Military History Museum. Large groups must call in advance to arrange group tours.

Tours

Guided and self guided tours. Guided tours available when booked in advance.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tues­Sat.
Weekend tours available by appointment.

Admission includes all museums and exhibits

Youth (6-17) $6
Children 5 and under receive complimentary admission

KHS members receive complimentary admission
