Crockett County Memorial Fair Park, east edge of city off US 290, is the present location of Emerald House, the oldest dwelling in the county. The house was moved from the town of Emerald when Ozona became county seat in 1891.
Crockett County Museum, 404 11th, contains frontier antiques, Indian relics, artifacts from Fort Lancaster, ranch implements and household items of the Western frontier. Open Monday—Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
David Crockett Monument, statue in city park on the town square, honors the legendary frontiersman and hero of the Alamo for whom the county was named.
